Brain current: Epilepsy, seizures, convulsions, fits are caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. There are effective treatments for most types of epilepsy. A doctor can look for specific causes and help monitor control with medication. You should not drive a car if you are subject to having epilepsy and not under good medical control.
