is a cyst on the kidney slightly above water density something serious? my husband also has a fatty nonalcoholic liver with a cyst.

See below: If it is a cyst it is almost certainly a congenital cyst and should cause no problems people with congenital cysts of the kidney also may have cysts in the liver and again a single cyst should not be a problem.
