My trans vaginal scan shows endometriosis for that doctor advise me danazol 200mg tds.for 3 to 6 months as i have no baby for 3yearz marriage time?

Worrisome: A 27 year old female comments that her doctor used transvaginal ultrasound to "show endometriosis". I am not aware that ultrasound can be used to make this diagnosis. Perhaps a gynecologist can confirm or refute this diagnostic phenomenon. In my opinion, the diagnosis of endometriosis should only be made if tissue pathology confirms.

I have had more than one case wherein uterus pathology "found no endometriosis" even though "endometriosis" was the pre-op diagnosis.
