Hopefully not: If you get pid it is from abnormal bacteria getting into the uterus and fallopian tubes like form gonorrhea or chlamydia which you would contact from having sex with a partner who is carrying the bacteria, please see your gyn, if you would be+ hopefully not , for one of those, or other bacteria can cause pid if it is an std you would have to get it from someone.
