Feeding Baby meds: Not without a specific recommendation from the baby's physician. I cannot think of any reason to give a baby phenergan (promethazine). What would you be giving the baby this medication for? Spitting up?

No: Years ago this medication was used frequently in infants and children, but not any more. Reports of apnea, failure to breathe, with tragic results began appearing in kids under 2 years of age. There is a black box warning on this med for use in infants. If you have it on hand, store it for later use.
