Restless leg syndrom: Check out http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/restless-legs-syndrome/ds00191/dsection=causes. In most situations, we're not clear as to cause of restless leg syndrome. However, as you've noted, we suspect Dopamine is involved, partly because many people respond to Dopamine agonists.

Circulation: Medications may have many different effects and your RLS may be due to other neurotransmitters. In your case what you are taking is probably not pure dopamine. Therefore a c ombination of chemicals may be having the effect.

See below: Restless leg syndrome is a movement disorder and sleep disorder, and is caused by problems affecting neurotransmitters, not circulation. Drug of choice is a Dopamine agonist, which works very well. On occasion, iron metabolism may be imbalanced and can be detected by a ferritin level.
