A member asked:

Does kinesiology tape work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kinesio Tape: Invented by a japanese chiropractor in the 1970s, this tape is promoted to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, relax muscles, help with rehabilitation and enhance performance by supporting muscles during sporting events. There have not been conclusive studies done to demonstrate benefit of this technique over other types of elastic taping, however many elite athletes are using the technique.
