Tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin: 5 years old child can be given tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin suspension which is available over the counter.The dose depends on the body weight and is printed on the bottle.Tylenol (acetaminophen) can be repeated every 4 hours and Motrin every 6 hours only if needed.
