Save lives by donating blood 3 times a year." is it safe to donate blood 3 times a year? i want to donate blood but i'm not sure if it'll affect me.

It is safe.: The only potential problem with donating too often is developing iron deficiency from the loss of blood. The blood bank checks before taking blood to be sure you are not anemic. If you plan to donate frequently, taking a multi-vitamin with iron is probably a good idea. You are definitely saving lives when you donate blood.

Yes: What benefit would it be to kill off blood donors? Yes it is perfectly safe for healthy adults to donate every 56 days (up to 6 times per year).
