Don't worry: Most likely this is a benign simple condition because of your age. However, without pain, it still could be the beginning of something that could become serious. There are several possibilities and if it continues, get an examination.

Colonoscopy: You may need a colonoscopy. It could b many things including a polyp or colon cancer. Schedule a visit with your primary doc to set u up for that and other tests.

See PCP first.: Anal bleeding can be cause by external or internal hemorrhoids or fissures. If the bleeding is due to fiissures, it is usuall painful and that is also true with external hemorrhoids, internal hemorroids do not usually cause pain. However you need to see your pcp to make sure nothing else is wrong.
