My son breathes heavily when he coughs.he has cough n coldn fever for3 days.what do i feed him.he poops semi solid too.how long will he take to get ok?

Viral Illness: Viral illness presented by cold, cough, runny/stuffy nose, fever, poor appetite. Viral resp. Infection stays for 3-5 or 7 days. Make sure he drinks enough fluid, stool if watery/frequent- give pedialyte for each stool, tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever 101 or above. Some cough is ok b/c it keeps airway clear. Give some honey. Cut on milk, give reigular food. Continues longer or any worsening, see his peds.
