Conjunctivitis: This very well may be an alley: allergic conjunctivitis. If you have not used allergy eye drops that is the next step if you do not want to see the eye doctor.

Blepharitis: It sound like you are describing multiple symptoms related to the edge of the eyelids. This is usually due to blepharitis. See your eye doctor to be sure. Warm compresses and lid scrubs can be helpful.
