Bladder Stones in ♀ : Bladder stones generally occur in the setting of reduced or obstructed urinary flow. This is extremely uncommon in women without a history of bladder surgery/disease. For young ♀ with recurrent utis, however, it is important to make sure there aren't kidney stones that can act as a reservoir for bacteria. A ct scan without contrast can detect any stone in the urinary system with ≈ 99% accuracy.
