A member asked:

I have small white dots of skin on bottom of my foot in multiple spots. dots have small holes, and holes aren't deep. it's not painful. what is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Athlete's foot : Is the first thing i would suspect. The fungi eat skin, and can leave holes. Tinea pedis (to sound nerdy) is easily fixed with a topical anti fungal, such as tolnaftate. Go for the generics, they're cheaper. Have you changed what your feet see? Walking on hot sand barefoot? New flip flops? If there's anything new, try changing back. If these don't work, and the problem persists, see a doctor.
