Mixed: As a pulmonologist i know that hypoxia (low oxygen saturation) is something to be avoided, but i think we may well over-prescribe oxygen therapy. There are trials going on to determine whether our current practice (provide supplemental o2 to anyone who drops below 88% saturation either at rest or with activity) is beneficial, harmless, or harmful. You may want to see if you are eligible for this.
