A member asked:

Do you think out of body experience is brought on by lack of oxygen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No there is no evide: No there is no evidence to support this.It happens in near death experiences, sometimes spontaneously, and sometimes with physical and mental trauma, dehydration, sensory deprivation, sensory overload, use of psychedelic drugs, or dream like state. But lack of oxygen is not the cause.
