Narcotic Addiction: I would advise you that this very question is a very big red flag for an opiate addiction. It very well may be that you need to get weaned off of opiates and to treat your back issues differently. I would consult with a pain or addiction specialist.

Pain specialist : Methadone can be prescribed for pain or for addiction to opiates. Anyone who has a dea csr license for class 2 narcotics can prescribe it for pain but it can only be prescribed for addiction by a physician with a special license for addiction. There may be other alternatives to treating your pain as well. Good luck.
