Clarithromycin: Claribid (clarithromycin) tablets are usually taken twice per day, every 12 hours. Patients are usually directed to take them for 1 to 2 weeks. The dosage may vary for each patient, as different types of infection may require different doses. Your physician will determine the correct dosage required. It comes as a tablet, and a liquid to take by mouth. Take the regular tablet and liquid two times.
