Coreg (carvedilol): Coreg (carvedilol) is also effective for angina. The dose titration for angina needs to achieve rate control which is a bit different from the CHF dosing.

Coreg (carvedilol): It is very effective for angina. It lowers the blood pressure and heart rate and ultimately oxygen consumption by the heart.
