Took 5day pred burst 3 weeks ago. now want to take 7day medrol (methylprednisolone) pack to ease severe unrelenting cough. is this safe or too close together?

Would not repeat: If the cough persists this long and did not respond to the initial course of prednisone, i would not repeat it. Get a chest x ray.
