Gastroenteritis: Most common viral. Start with low gr. Fever, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain-, progresse to diarrhea. For nausea and vomiting: diphenhydramine, 2 teaspoonful 2-3 times on day 1, pedialyte one glass for each diarrhea. Diet: bananna, rice, applesauce, toast, yogort, chicken/soup, crackers. If vomiting continues: go to er. If abdominal pain worsens, shifts to rt. Lq, fever- er to r/o appendicitis.
