Big toe clicking: This is a benign finding. The most likely explanation for toes or knuckles to 'click' is due to the presence in some individuals of tiny air pockets in the joint capsules w/c when suddenly emptying, give a 'clicking' sound. This occurs with joint movement, when the joint capsules in the toes or knuckles contract and relax. Again, this is a benign symptom, and there is no sequelae arising from it.
