Neuropathy: Numbness, tingling, burning sensation of the lower extremities can be symptoms and signs of peripheral neuropathy. Sources of peripheral neuropathy could be due to vascular insufficiency, neuroforaminal compressions of nerves due to lumbosacral spine degenerative joint and disc disease, or muscle spasm, such piriformis syndrome causing compressing on the sciatic nerve.
