No need to worry: The superficial blood vessels in the skin in those areas are becoming dilated, and allowing a lot more blood flow to go there. This increase in blood flow carries with it heat from the body, and thus the blood flow causes the redness, and the heat causes the warmth that you perceive. This can be caused by many things but you shouldn't worry to much about it.
