Hypercalcemia : There are various causes if hypercalcemia (h) and low kidney function is not one of them. Some causes of h are parathyroid adenoma causing increased parathyroid hormone release, hyperthyroidism, tumors metastatic to bone, vitamin d intoxication, among others. As there are no good causes of h, see an endocrinologist or a nephrologist to find the cause of h in the person you are asking about.
