A member asked:

Diet for patient with chronic kidney disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not for HealthTap: Chronic kidney disease is widely variable in severity, as well as cause and how it expresses itself. When diet becomes important to management, it needs to be tailored to the individual patient by someone who's expert in this area and knows the person. This is one case in which it's very important not to take general advice from the internet or other "pop" sources.
