See a spine surgeon: You likely have a recurring herniated disc. If you are having right leg pain, then go see your spine surgeon for re-evaluation, and to re-start conservative management. These will include nsaids if not medically contraindicated, pt, home exercises, epidural injections. Repeat discectomy should only be considered if you fail these treatments described above.

Symptoms ?: What are your symptoms? Foot drop or numbness on top of foot indicates L5 damage need to see neurosurgeon right away. For pain only - no need to worry most recover spontaneously over several months. Who did your discectomy? Get back to that provider - if there is concern of nerve compromise, you will need re-do discectomy.
