Serious: You could have a zygomatic arch fracture. This is a serious deal . The balance issues could be related to your inner ear or the back part of your brain (cerebellum). You need to get imaging of your facial bones done and likely see a neurologist about the dizziness. The other issue is this: did the dizziness and balance happen first and you fell? You could have had a stroke then fell?

Sweeling/fracture: It may be some residual swelling or you may have fractured your facial bones. Your poor balance may have been the reason your fall. You need a medical work up.

Head trauma: You could have fractured your skull and/or caused a hematoma. Your should have a ct head done to make sure no obvious fracture or blood collection seen. If none seen a visual exam should be performed as well as an ENT exam.
