We come from a religious background where treatment is based on faith and home cures. what can we use to treat puncture wound of the arm?

Faith & Home Remedy?: With all due respect faith and home cures may not be able to remove a foreign body. Having said that neuropsychobioimmulonologic factors with faith are very important to health. However, i don't have any knowledge of particular regimens that can assure healing of a wound which i cannot evaluate.

Faith healing: Most important thing is to make sure there is no infection. Manifested as reddness, swelling, fluid drainage. If yoy have these signs then antibiotics will be necessary. Otherwise washing out the wound with water may be enough.

God is good....: But god helped some smart people find some good medicines and treatment. Wash and bandage the wound, & keep it clean. Ensure the tetanus is up to date (booster within the last 5 years). See a md for infection: redness, swelling, pain, fever, heat, and/or drainage. Early intervention will prevent big problems down the road. As the islamic proverb goes: "trust in allah, but tie your camel.".
