Wrist pain: You may have sprained your wrist and now the pain spreads up along the sprained muscle. Give it some rest. Sometimes wrist splint or wrist support helps. If there is swelling, using an ace band if you don't get to use a splint, may work. Topical rubs - bengay, icyhot may help. Ibuprofen may provide temporary relief. But the best healer is time.
