Nuts are healthy: Nuts are a healthy part of your diet but only if you avoid the typical highly salted peanuts common to the states. Recent study of mediterranean diet found benefit from those who ate lots of nuts, say 30g/d: 15g/d of walnuts, 7.5g/d of almonds & 7.5g/d of hazelnuts. Some other studies found benefit from cashews & pistachios, too. But remember, everything in moderation. Chat w/ur nutrititionist.
