Recieved hernia surgery tuesday and now saturday and still extremely swollen.only walk to bathroom and ice contantly and on ibprofen. what else helps?

Time: There is not enough information. Where is hernia, how was it fixed (with open method, or using laparoscopic method)? There is often some swelling about the wound with the open method, but with yours being extremely swollen, you should see your surgeon.

Time: Taking the Ibuprofen up to 800 mg every 8 hrs will not usually control your pain but it should make it so that you do not have to take the Percocet every 4 hours. Ice and rest are also great. Sometimes a scrotal support helps if it was a groin hernia.
