Bleeding: The spotting could have been caused by irritation of the cervix or a small bleed within the uterus. The only way to diagnose is with physical exam or ultrasound. If the bleeding is nolonger present and you are not cramping you might not need to do anything, but if symptoms continue its always safest to see your provider.

Go to your doctor: You should be evaluated by your doctor. While bleeding can occur after intercourse, it is never normal especially during pregnancy as it can affect you and your baby. You should be examined by your doctor.
