Go see your doctor: St john's wort is not effective in major depressive disorder although it may be fine in mild. However, in bipolar disorder, there is concern that it might bring out mania. Furthermore, st john's wort interacts & interferes w/many other meds so it's important that you always tell your doc everything that you're taking. http://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/publications/bipolar-disorder/index.shtml.

St.Johns Wort: This supplement will only help with mild depression and it does not even work consistently for mild depression so it quite unlikely to help with bi-polar. Best.
