I recently had a creatinine urine 24hr test which came out high (2100 mg/24hr). what does this generally signal?

You're fine: Especially if you're a bit more muscular than today's average guy, or a big guy, or you drank a lot of water that day, or it's actually a few more than 24 hours, or you ate an extra serving of meat, i'd consider this normal. The only value in measuring it is to give other substances "per gram of creatinine".
