Get second opinion: Bcs in children is very uncommon and while recurrent bcs after liver transplant can occur, the cause must be determined to MAP out the best means for treatment. Seek a second opinion - since you are in new zealand, i suggest that you contact dr. Lynch at queensland liver transplant service in brisbane. His e-mail is: s.Lynch@uq.Net.Au and tell him that dr. J. Fung asked him to see this child.

New liver transplant: Sounds like another liver transplant is in order. This is a very reasonable option.
