Reply: You didn't mention the age of your son, if he is older than 6 months of age and has been started on solid foods then he should not be feeding on breast all day and night. Start switching him to formula milk gradually increasing it to the routine amount for his age per day.

Get help: You can start formula at any time but may need someone else to help.If you kid can smell you he will fight for the real thing. After he is hungry enough to start bottle feeding for your spouse or friend he may do it for you.Feed as he awakens and do not offer it again until after a sleep period, begin solids if he is over 6 mo and advance them as tolerated.He may reject this at first but keep tryng.
