Usually...: ...Ear drops and watchful waiting. Once the problem that caused the rupture is resolved, most eardrums will heal on their own.

Ruptured ear drum: It all depends on what caused it. If infection, may need an antibiotic if not draining well. If traumatic , should heal in 24 hours or so. If from a loud explosion, need to monitor your neuro exam.
