Possibly: The average 16 yo with a bone maturity equal to his age, will grow another 1-1.5 inches. If the bone maturity is advanced, he will grow less and if bone maturity is more like a 14-15 yo he could grow 3-4 inches.An x-ray of the hand and wrist can be assessed for bone maturity and decide how much growth to expect.
