Ecchymoses: Well there are many causes bruising, we would first have to eliminate the fact that you may be on an anticoagulant or blood thinner and other conditions. Aspirin is probably the most frequent cause we see bruising. And interesting combination is that someone will itch from some cutaneous disorder and scratched during the night, possibly while they are on a blood thinner, bruises appear.
