Can you get a sore throat from biting the inside of your cheek too often?

Biting cheek: Biting your cheek should not give you a sore throat. It is probably just coincidental. Biting your cheek, though, can cause scarring of the mucosa (skin) inside your cheek. This can lead to a fibroma, or a lump of scar tissue which may need to be surgically removed.
