Sternum fracture: Sternal fracture must be examined and worked up by a physician. Sometimes surgical correction is necessary. Various pain medication are used for pain control depnding on individual patient's tolerance.

Serious: May need hospital to avoid complications of pneumonia, atelectasis, bleeding and pain! lot of trauma! pain pills!
