Good psychotherapy: I think that working with a good psychotherapist and having a good relationship with a gp you trust who will also consult with the therapist might really relieve this condition. You'll aim to trust the medical findings and discover ways to interrupt the obsessing and fear. This will take three good people, but it should work. Best!

Hypochondria: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is often the most effective approach to treating hypochondria. Psychoeducation and exposure therapy have been used as well as treatment with antidepressant medications when warranted.
