Maintain Hygiene : See your hygienist at the prescribed frequency for you, no longer than 6 months, (some people are 3-4 months). Follow home care instructions given. Maintain effective home care with proper brushing minimally twice a day, preferably with an electric toothbrush, and floss daily! ask your dental professional for instructions for oral hygiene if you are not sure if you are being effective.

Effort: World health organization study shows a majority of adults have some degree of periodontal disease. This is the oral-systemic link where bacteria from the mouth enter the bloodstream through bleeding gums. Leads to medical problems. See your dentist to formulate a plan. Look up perio protect as a non-surgical treatment option to reverse damage.
