How probable is it that vertigo and dizziness is being caused by a brain tumor?

Unlikely: The combination of vertigo and dizziness is unlikely to be a symptom of a brain tumor. When it is it is usually accompanied by hearing loss. Most causes of vertigo and dizziness represent labrynthitis or inner ear infection.

Not very: Vertigo is sometimes caused by a brain tumor affecting the vestibular nerve, a so-called 'acoustic neuroma' (vestibular schwannoma). However there are many other more common causes of this symptom. See your doctor for a full evaluation and possible treatment.
