Otitis media: No and yes. No it's not a long term condition and does not need to "be reported" and and yes it does go away after treatment.

Goes away: Otitis media usually goes away after being treated. In some very young children it can be a chronic medical condition. Unless there is something unusual about your otitis media you do not need to report it as a long term health condition.
