A member asked:

Do i need a colostomy bag if i get bowel cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Not in all cases. If it's limited involvement and the surgery is planned, usually don't need a bag. If you get a low-lying rectal cancer, a bag is more likely.
