Multiple : There are four cardiac valves, each can produce symptoms and require interventions- including replacements.. Progressive deterioration clinically, and by echo will be guidance to, need. Angina, syncope, heart failure with aortic. Short of breath, fluid retention, fatigue, with mitral.

Variable depending: On valve & severity of dysfunction (diagnosed with echocardiogram) with failure of medical therapy...Very complex.
