Please clarify: Obsessive-compulsive disorder is often best handled by professional psychotherapy and/or medications. There is also another condition known as obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (this is actually what pop culture is referring to when using the expression "ocd"). It is treated by similar means, perhaps more often with psychotherapy than with medications.
