Great question!: Starting a medication like seroquel, (quetiapine) you really do need to be mindful of your diet and exercise. If you are, you'll be much less likely to develop Insulin resistance and overweight. Whether your own activities are enough to escape long-term side effects with this medicine remains to be seen -- more clinical research to be done.
